So I'm sure we can all agree that everyone was pretty excited when the Final Fantasy VII remake was announced right? But now I don't even care, and neither should you.
Die hard Resident Evil fans, watch out because there are new kids in town, and these kids (not literally) are part of Italian game studio Invader Games. Now these wonderful people have done what everyone has been crying for, and that is remake Resident Evil 2 with the over the shoulder camera perspective.
Resident Evil 2 reborn is a 100% complete REMAKE, none of this remaster bollocks, and it looks bloody great.
This is what the guys have to say about it on their website -
"Resident Evil 2 Reborn comes from the idea of InvaderGames team, crowds to pay tribute to one of the greatest titles ever created in the video games indutry, through a modern interpretation of the original Resident Evil 2.
Using as a basis the assets of another title in the series ”Resident Evil Darkside Chornicles” the game began as a fanmade game / mod free non-profit.
The goal of Resident Evil 2 Reborn is not only to recreate the universe of Resident Evil 2 in key next-gen with Unreal Engine 4, but create a game that deepen and expand the experience of the original Resident Evil 2, giving to the player a new game that combines the old soul of the original to new and interesting features written from scratch."
